After reading Neal Boortz colorful life story on his website I must admit, there are a lot of similiarities in our background. Only Josette Mandela was the A-/B+ student that Neal probably loved to hate as she always was [...]

Did you get your tax return to the IRS by April 15? Did you have your refund deposited directly into your bank account?
If you answered ’yes’ to both of these questions then you should see the tax
rebate check in your account very soon. The government decided to move up the date and yesterday was the first day of the program.
They have decided to segregate the deposits starting with the people whose
social security numbers end with ’00′ . They also are starting with the people
who had direct deposit because it simplifies the processing.
Once they get through all the returns with direct deposit information, they will
then begin printing and mailing checks to those who did not include direct deposit
information on their tax return.
So nows the time to start reveiwing what you are going to do with an extra
$300, $600 or more, depending on your family situation.
My recommendation is to invest it, whether in your retirement program or an
education program. Don’t just spend the money for the sake of spending money.
I believe in you.
